The 8th International Conference on Algorithms, Computing and Systems (ICACS 2024) was held successfully at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong during October 11-13, 2024. ICACS 2024 was hosted by School of Science and Technology, Department of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science of Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong; technically supported by the Department of Digital Systems, University of Thessaly, Greece; University of Strathclyde, UK; University of Electronic and Science Technology of China, China and University of Wollongong, Australia.

There are 3 keynote speeches, 2 invited speeches, 4 parallel sessions covering various topics such as: AI based Intelligent Control System and Optimization Analysis, Visual based Image Processing and Applications, Intelligent Algorithm Design and Image Processing and Data Oriented Computing Model and Data Management.
